Hello and Happy Monday, Friends! As promised I am providing my June/July update in one post for everyone!
“Celtic Tales”
“Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge” - Paul Krueger
“The Woman Suffrage Cookbook” - Hattie A. Burr Reading Roulette - June (+2)
“Resistance: A Songwriter’s Story” - Tori Amos
“The Library Book” - Ann Cleeves
“The Lucky One” - Nicholas Sparks (audiobook)
“Midnight in Poppyland” - Webtoons
“Lore Olympus” - Webtoons
“Swim Back to Me” - Ann Packer Reading Roulette - July (+2)
I am including two different Webtoons I have been reading. There is a story and some beautiful artwork. Since there are enough chapters I am including them as done this month because I read everything that is out already! "Lore Olympus" only just released season 2 and "Midnight in Poppyland" is still being published. Just because it is online and a 'non-traditional' literary work doesn't mean it shouldn't be included!
In June I read a cookbook: "The Woman Suffrage Cookbook." The recipes were older, so they were nice and short! Honestly, that is way out of my norm and I really wasn't too much of a fan. The recipes were neat, but just reading recipes is not my cup of tea. Then July I had to find a book with water on the title. Since I have been super behind in my readings I found a novella/essay selection! I chose "Swim Back to Me." It's interesting in a slow way. It's essentially been my side read, but I want to complete every month of the challenge and try to read something that isn't something I normally read!

August is Read a book that recently won an award. I'll find a good and get reading. Keep an eye out for that update! In the meantime you just might get a few random updates with reviews or other book-ish thoughts that come to my mind! 😀
Totals as of August 3, 2020:

Hooray! I'm only 4 points away from this year's goal! By the end of August I should have this locked down...as long as 2020 doesn't strike again. Fingers crossed!
